Easiest Way to Add On Aux to W203

I have a 2002 C320 w/the factory head unit. I would like know the easiest way to add on an auxilliary feature, without having to solder/hack up the tape unit (b/c I don't have the skills).

It has been suggested that as an alternative, the cheapest, easiest way is to add on a wired FM modulator via the antenna. However, I have learned that MB uses a different antenna plug.

Can someone please walk me throug how to add an auxilliary feature or install a wired FM modulator. Please cite what parts are needed and include photos if possible.

Thanks,
Alan

Aux continued...

Unfortunately, the referenced aux install (did you check this out?
https://mbworld.org/forums/showth...od+integration) does not work on pre '05 models. Thanks for the input however.

The tape deck modification is an option, but not for unskilled hands. Other suggestions seem to be for a reasonable head unit upgrade to either the Audio 10 Becker 6021 (plug n play capable), or the Becker Monza (MP3 but no steering wheel controls and not fiber optic capable) with an auxilliary wiring harness available for about $20 more.

If anyone has other suggestions, please share them.

Regards.

There is a kit available for your car. I have instructions and part numbers on a PDF file. Actually very similar to the previous post. Basically the same except the for your car. PM me your email address and I will send them to you.

Hi my06clk,

Does this kit you speak of work on the AUDIO 10 CD (Becker 6021)?

I have a 2004 C200K and want to add AUX for MP3 capability without using FM.

Many Thanks
