Pioneer Avic installation kit for W163

Has anyone ever come across an installation kit for a Pioneer Avic D3 in a W163? I have the wiring completed using the Metra V Dub harness. I tested it and everything works awsome. I am now trying fit the unit in the dash. D3 came with no cage and a cheap looking face plate that doesn't even fit the D3 very well. A friend gave me a 2 Din cage made by kenwood but I don't know if this can be used.

In the past I have mounted the unit by making my own brackets and securing it to the sub-dash directly. After you get the unit mounted, use Metra part # 99-9999, cut out the inner divider bar and open up the hole a bit on the top, bottom and sides. Then trim to fit the dash. Use the smooth side and paint it flat black (I use Wurth paint). Matches the dash awesome.

FYI it is much easier to do this with the dash trim out of the car -- it simply unclips.

Any questions let me know.
