The fact that your Tele-Aid system functions (at least physically) does not mean your car has other phone equipment installed. Also, you will not be able to actually use Tele-Aid unless you subscribe to the service.
The questions you are asking lead me to believe you don't know what your car has in the way of installed telephone equipment. Your dealer should be able to retreive the options list for you, based on the VIN. The owner's manual and COMAND manual will help - if you don't have them, your dealer can order them or you can get them directly through the MBUSA website.
Is there any special code that you are aware of I should look for as there are there are 42 seperate codes?

finally the voice control system allows well voice control of both radio/ccd functions as well as telephone functions if you have the phone kit installed. the kit listed is the correct one and is a relatively straightforward installation. if the phone kit needs to be installed then its easiest to do both at the same time since the connections are peripheral to eachother.
Kimber, the options list you have may be helpful to someone who can decode it, but the most helpful piece of paper to you is the window sticker from when the car was sold. Even if you are not the original owner it may be together with the owner's manual, or in the trunk near the spare tire (many dealers put them in one of those places) - or it may be with other paperwork from when you bought the car. It will list the hands-free kit (cell phone kit, or some phrasing that indicates you have a phone system). If the only thing it says is that your car is "pre-wired" and does not also list a hands-free installation, then you do nor have the phone equipment. Rob has given you a quick way to see if it is there. If you're not averse to looking in the trunk, the phone buklletin shows photos of the equioment as well as telling how to install it; you could use that as well, but Rob's way is likely easiest.
