No it is the industry standard to get $2400 for it, sure you haggle a bit, but why should they? truthfully they are filling your need when they can be off changing oil, tires... doing the stuff that they don't have to worry about like someone breaking a screen, dvd player...
I did the 500 before with the headrest, and piped the audio and video to the front screen also, added a sub, added rear camera, GPS tracking, and back up sensors for it... The front seats needed to be unbolted to properly run the wires, which is more time. If done right the wire will snake to the front of the seat bottoms where it meets with an extension cable, that is where it needs to be, don't make a tech at $125/hr hunt down the wires because the battery is under there, and also the sat tuner ...
