Bluetooth for 2002 E320 with Timeport
I am looking to replace my factory installed
Motorola Timeport phone with a bluetooth
solution on my 2002 E320.
What is the best route?
a. should I replace existing PSE with V60 PSE/Cradle? and get a AWS solution?
b. Argos?
c. Any other options?
Which one works with iPhone?

Minimal effort searching BenzWorld and MBWorld will get you a good amount of user experience with the iPhone. It seems to work well with both the old and new Bluetooth puck for MHI, and it works with the V60 puck as well. Some contributors report full downloads of phone book and so forth - others report limited phone book downloads. There seems to be no consistency as to better or worse success based on the Bluetooth unit used. I suspect it has more to do with where the user is storing the phone book on the iPhone, and how many entries are in the phone book.
As to comparing the Argos unit to Mercedes equipment, my preference is to remain with OE. I do know that Argos is coming out with a new unit soon, but I have not seen it or validated the advertising claims.
