amp question

Hi, I currently have a 99 clk 320 (w208) and i do not have an amplifier. I live in Canada so i guess it is an optional feature that the owner did not invest in.

Does anyone know if the car is already wired for an amp, where i can just plug and play? I would like to buy the factory amp but i dont want to do wiring if it isnt pre wired.

I have no idea if i have bose or standard, im guessing standard because i odnt have an amp. is there a way to make it like the bose system?

Why would you want to make it "like" the bose system. Most MB owners here will agree that system is highly overated and you can put together a much better system for the money.

The Stock head unit will not have RCA inputs in the rear of the head unit to accomodate and amp. You can certainly add aftermarket speakers to the headunit without an amp. Then add an HU and AMP later on down the road if you're not satisfied with the sound.
