Lojack wiring question...
Hey everyone.
I think I just stumbed across the Lojack box in my car.. but I noticed that one of the wires isn't connected!
The lojack box has the following connected:
1) Antenna
2) Red/Black wire to a small battery pack
3) Black wire that's grounded.
4) Red wire that's not connected to anything.
Logic would dictate that the lojack can't just run off a small battery pack, so I'm guessing the red wire should be connected to a +12v source.
My question is.. if I connect the red wire, will there be any negative side effects? will it set off the lojack?

Gonna answer my own question..
So I ended up connecting the red wire to a +12v source. It didn't set the lojack off. But at the same time I have no idea if it's working since it doesn't have anything to indicate it is.
