Upgrade Sound System in W164
Hi there
Just bought a ML280 07 model with Command System, built in BT Telephone mod and the standard 8 speaker setup. Not very happy about the quality of the sound. What would people recommend as to possible upgrade keeping the Command as the head unit to power the speakers. I do not mind adding Sub Base but want it hidden in the panel in the boot. I have tried to search the forum but have not found much.
Is it possible to upgrade the speakers on their own without adding sub base?? If so what can I put? I went to a Car Audio specialist and he said that the only thing I can put is a sub in the boot as the standard Door speaker are non standard size and nothing will fit in there unless and if the panels are modified.
