Help with new head unit
Hey guys,
I just installed an Eclips AVN-7K in my 97 S600, everything works but there's some clicking and interference in all speakers. Is that due to Bose amp incompatibility? Do I need to bypass or replace that? Any ideas/thoughts? I appreciate any help.Thanks

most likely it is, or depending on how it was installed/interfaced you might be picking up noise from an ignition source. If you are coming straight off the AVN unit to the speakers, then you shouldn't have that issue, if you are interfacing with the amp, most likely the low level is picking up the noise. A good shields twisted pair Rca would work better, or just use the high level outputs of the headunit into the amp, just don't take the radio to 70 cleanly
