Questions about bluetooth / phone install...
I'm sorry if all this info is already explained within the forums but I'm having a hard time getting a solid understanding of this process...
I have a 2005 C240. It has cell phone prewiring. It does not have teleaid.
I understand that my dealer needs to version code the car to enable whatever device gets connected to the fiber loop.
My question is very simple:
What parts do I have to buy?
I want my car to be able to recognize my bluetooth cell phone when I get in so that I can send and receive calls using the buttons in the car (I don't care which antenna is used although I'm sure the cars would get a better signal.)
Thanks!!

The sticky from Skylaw at this forum, and perhaps the phone installation bulletins from Paul would help:

The MOST loop needs to be initialised for new devices. Also the instrument cluster needs to be version coded to allow phone menus there.
