Question Advise me (Audio question)

I have a:
2001
SLK 320

My CD changer does not work.

I could get one from Ebay easily.

or

I could get a new CD deck so I can have in in-dash cd changer complete with I-pod, sat/hd radio, ext... for around $200.

I would actually prefer the second option but I am worried about loosing my Mercedes radio and its performance.

What should I do.

I am not looking at anything super special. Maybe:
Alpine - Apple® iPod™/Satellite Radio/HD-Radio-Ready CD Deck
Model: CDA-9883 | SKU: 8222568
$204.00

or if I feel like spending some bills:
Dual - MOSFET 60W x 4 CD/DVD/MP3 Deck w/Fully Motorized 7" Widescreen Touch-Screen LCD
Model: XDVD8180 | SKU: 7668945
$399.00

I don't think the Benz sterio is great but it doesn't look out of place and I have heard stories of alternative radios not working properly.

Do not get the Dual, they are Junk. I have had 3 friends that have had them and they broke and they don't sound all that good. I'd go with the Alpine. Alpine makes the Comand Units for Benz.

Thanks for the advice.

I think i'll go with the Alpine. Simple, not expensive, and good (not great but I don't need the best).
