Audio suggestions for my C32

I've been given some pretty decent audio hardware, and I'd like your suggestions on how to install it in my C32.

The present system is stock, with COMAND. I don't want to change out the head unit. I'm fine with the highs in the car, but I'm looking for improved low-end sound.

Also, I'd like to keep the weight down and keep the spare tire compartment usable.

I have the following:

JL 500/1 amp
JL 300/4 amp
JL W6 10" sub
JL Cleansweep

What type of enclosure should I use for the sub? Should I change out the interior speakers? Do I need the 300/4 amp? How do I make use of the Cleansweep? Any other suggestions?

You and I have similar equipment. Check out the thread on my install at https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-electronics/220743-e63-focal-jl-audio-install.html

All you really need is some door speakers, as the 500/1 can hit your W6 perfectly. I suggest Focals or Boston Accoustic speakers for your mids and tweets. They will match well with your 300/4.

I also suggest a bass knob so you can adjust your bass output in realtime ($40)

As for enclosure, I've had both - ported and closed. A well tuned ported box will be louder.

I saw the thread with pics of your install. It looks great.

As for the box, I've been told that a sealed box will yield less boomy bass, which is fine with me. The size of the box is a concern as well.

Good call on the bass knob though, I think the Cleansweep comes with one.
