Need some help...

I replaced the head unit on my 95 W124.... Problem, radio is working, but when i switch to cd i dont get any sound,cd is spinning inside song play time is running but no sound. I dont think its my head unit,my friend told me it might be amp problem(if there is one?) or some way how to connect wires. Anyone have any idea whats going on???? Thanks!

How could it be the amp, it is the same anyway for the radio and the CD (changer)? Perhaps just a loose wire, I assume this is a changer in the trunk with analog interface to the headunit.

Thank for reply... I dont have changer in my MB. I looked for amp and it seems i found two of them (atleast it looks trhat way) ... I checked my head unit with the spare speaker and its working good.... And i discovered one more problem, when my illum wires are connected its working fine while the head lights is on,second i turn of my lights i get INTERRUPT message on my headunit, and nothing seems to be working,I turn lights back on and its working again... Any idea whats going on?

OK, it isn't any MB OEM setup, you actually wrote you changed the HU, I did not realise it was changed to something not OEM.

An after market setup could be anything.

Got it working but discovered that one rear speaker isnt working so decided to replace them... Any suggestions on rear speakers, im thinking JL Audio component speakers.
