2004 E-500 with Intermittent Audio & Nav Audio
The Comand Unit on a 2004 E-500 4matic wagon (34K miles) recently started an intermittent problem. With no regularity sometimes the audio will cut out for 2-3 seconds and then cut back in. This has also occurred when Navigation is active and the unit has to recalibrate directions.
Anyone experiencing similar issue? I'd appreciate recommendations for fix prior to bring into the dealer for warrant service....which may or may not improve matters.
