V60 Phone/Message Alert
I had the old timeport in my '01 s430. If I had a voicemail when the car was started, I got a "beep" alerting me to the fact that I had a message.
I have an '02 cl500 with the v60 phone and I do not get the "beep" so I have to look at the phone to know if I have a voice message. Anyone know how to change this? if possible?
Also, I would like to know how to program a "pause" into the stored phone numbers.

Go into your phone and navigate to Ring Styles, then loud detail. Set your voicemail tone to something. I use Uh-Oh. You can also set your reminder tones on in this same menu.
That should take care of your problem. Now on setting a pause, you got me. I always have to program those via the telephone entry and not COMAND.

I no longer have the old timeport so I cannot answer the question. However, there must be a way because when I had one, I got a beep notifying me of new voicemail.
