Help With Syncing BlackBerry 8830 and Command

Hi, Im trying to help my dad sync his BlackBerry 8830 to the Command unit he has in his C350. When I go into the phone section of Command and I update devices it can never find the BlackBerry. However a screen always pops up on the Blackberry asking for the password or whatever for MB. This screen is supposed to come up only after the Command unit finds the device and u go to authorize it, or atleast thats how it worked with other phones I've used. The BlackBerry is set to discoverable.

Any ideas?

Sounds funny but this same code is used in Europe too. But this code is for pairing the BT adapters, it should be different from the W204. I'm assuming you are allowed to pick any code when pairing with the W204, you are then requested to enter this same code on both units.

You can always try MBUSA and if the car requests your to confirm the code, enter MBUSA again (what ever number digits it equals to).

I've done it myself once on a W204 test drive but I don't remember how it was done, I thought I initiated the connection from the phone but it really could have been the opposite. Unfortunately the on-line manual for W204 does not cover this part (should be on the HU user guide and this is not available from the MB Euro site).

Yes Diesel Banz is correct- at least for my S - the BT Puck was MBUSA and for the COMAND i entered whatever I wanted on both devices (the BB and the vehicle).
