Are you using wireless FM? Add the FM direct for about $60 in parts

It allows a direct FM connection thru the FM Ant. input on the rear of the radio. eliminates about 98% static that you get with the wireless peice

you will need this

and a set of Euro Antenna adapters

We typically install the FM-SC1 because it allows for a cleaner more OEM look

Hope this Helps!

Just my 2 cents, but if I was going to install the Sirius system I would do it *properly*. And by properly I mean with OEM parts so that it connects to the radio through the fiber bus, perfect sound quality, steering wheel controls, everything on the radio screen. You can expect to pay anywhere from 200 - 400 for such a kit if you shop around and look on eBay.

Or, install a Dension Gateway 500 (www.dension.com), which has fiber optic input direct to our HU, and provides iPod, RCA, and USB input connectors. If your Sirius has one of these outputs, you will hear NO static, and excellent audio. Unfortunately, cost is around $500 to purchase.

You could also buy a Sirius kit made by NAV-Tv if you have a comand but that costs $800. With such a large percentage of MB owners leasing vehicles Hardwired FM Mod. are a very acceptable option becasue your average owner does not want to throw $200+ dollars at a vehicle they are returning in 24-48 months.
