Comand System from G500 to C320?

I recently purchased a new C320 Sport Sedan and as much as I wanted to get the navigation I just could not wait for them to locate on with it already installed. So here is my questions:

Can I install a Comand 2.0 System that was taken out of a G500 into my new C320. A friend of mine removed his for a much larger screen. According to other posts it is possible but I need to purchase a connector.

Other posts I have read explain it but I have read some conflicting reports.

Does anyone has specifics? Or a link I could go to that will help.

Much appreciated and please accept my apology if this post is a duplicate.

It's not that easy.

You don't need a connector, all the connectors are the same.

Besides, G500 COMANDs usually sell for more money than a W203 COMAND, and the W203 COMAND just plugs in.

Why go through the hassle? Even if you save say, $200-300 on the G500 COMAND, you will probably spend more than that in time and parts getting the G500 version working in your car.

The other way you can make it work is to contact Steve ( s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com ) and he'll take your G500 COMAND and $1300 and make it all work.
