Replacing HU in 2002 SLK230
I know there's lots of info on the subject but frankly, after reading all of them, I find a lot of contradictions.
I have 2 questions:
1)Will the 2002 SLK230 Bose amps accept standard speaker-level signals from an after-market HU?
2)If so, is it true that I can use the line level outputs on the HU--through a set of RCA cables with one side stripped-to drive the speaker level inputs on the amp? It would seem to me that the signal would be too weak but... If it works it SHOULD be a cleaner signal.
Sorry to ask questions that may have already been answered but I want to be sure before I start this project. Any info on the subject is highly appreciated.
