c-class stock audio system
Hello everyone!
my name is eli, and i drive a 2001 C220 CDI Avantgarde (W203).
i know that the car is equipped with a stock audio system which includes small subwoofer and 4 speakers (one on each door).
my question is does anyone knows the company and the model of the speakers and the subwoofer? does it have an amplifier too? if so, what company and model is he? i just want to know exactly what i have in my car.

Welcome to the forum. It would be helpful if you told us where you live (at least the continent) - it can make a big difference in the answers, especially in electronics. Because you specified Avantgarde, I presume you're in Europe.
I am not overly familiar with the C-Class, but from what I can glean in a quick read, you probably have an Audio 10 or Audio 30 unit, likely made by Becker (though some are Alpine). In the U.S., Audio 20 units were also used. The upgraded system for your car was Harman-Kardon, I believe.
If you post a photo of your head unit, or provide your VIN, someone (including your authorized dealer) can probably tell you more accurately, and can answer with more specifics on your system. You can also find out all kinds of information at http://www.mercupgrades.com/, especially http://www.mercupgrades.com/display_article_list.php

i'm from israel. i have the following HU:
recieving an answer from the dealer will take me couple of years (it's complicated here in israel) that's the reason i posted my question in this forum.

It's never a problem to post; the dealer may be just one more source of an answer (but apparently, not an easy one for you).
You may be able to get information on the equipment in your specific car's equipment by entering the VIN at http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb.asp
