full audio system upgrade

I have a 96 C220 and was looking to do a full speaker/amp/subs upgrade because the stock system can't handle any regular music anymore.
I'm new to the whole car audio world so can anyone give me tips on where to start with upgrades?

I would do an Alpine CDA-9886
Hertz Mille components up front
Hertz Mille 10" sub
Audison LRX5.1k
Done...

leave the rear speakers alone, because with the Mille's up front you'd be in heaven

i know a few guys/shops out in LA also

if you could get me a list of reputable shops, or at least tell me some off of the top of your head, that would be great.

also, would i need separate tweeters for my speakers in back?

this is the replies I got:

Call Jeff Haas - he's mostly doing home integration and big home theaters these days but I refer all entertainment industry-based work to him and he knows MB quite well. His shop is in Culver City near downtown LA. 310-641-4700
If Jeff is busy, you can call Elie Rothstein at the Al & Ed's in West Hollywood. He also runs the Galpin install operation in the Valley. They know MB inside and out. 310-920-5454.
or call bill if you need more

good luck
