Any value selling my W209 nav head unit?
I've got an '04 CLK500 that has the factory nav unit. I'm interested in swapping it out for an aftermarket like a Pioneer or Kenwood with touchscreen. I'm really not that versed on how it all works though, and while I've tried searching and reading, I get confused about which car models mean what kind of sacrifices (ie. steering wheel controls, dvd changer, etc.). Primarily though, I'm not sure that I can afford it unless there's some value in selling the current system. For all I know, it may be fairly worthless on the secondary market, but I figured I'd ask for opinions.
If there is some value in it, my question would be what parts or pieces I need to keep (antenna, etc.?) and which can be sold.
Any advice is appreciated!
