I installed the factory kit on my C55, which required the rear bumper to be removed and the bumper strip insert to be changed. The internal rear map light assembly needed changing over the combined parktronic display / light unit. Then the MB Star tool needs to code the system as present.

The Bosch kit is a breeze to install in comparison to the OE unit. No bumper removal, OE product, dedicated display with sound. Pretty slick.

The factory kit is available from Steve at www.mbenznl.nl.

The Bosch aftermarket kit is available by special order at Advance Auto parts.
