Does anyone know any aftermarket adaptor for a C-plug for 2000+ CLK/ E class? This is for the smaller plug above the main power and speaker sockets. I don't want to cut the original C-plug. Does Mercedes have the matching plug for the C-plug( male/ female) ? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The C-connector (10 pins) is actually larger than the A- and B-connectors. If you're talking about smaller connectors, then you may be referring to the C1 and C2 connectors. These would be in the car if it came with COMAND.

A male C-connector (to plug in to the female connector in the car) is not generally available, but you can buy numerous ready-built products and remove the connector for your own use. The cheapest product I've found is a CD changer adapter cable, and it is around $20.

Thanks for replying. I was referring to the C-plug( large one) as you pointed out, sorry for my mistake . All I need is the male 10 pins plug. Which CD-changer plug are you referring to? If I can locate one to fit with the Mercedes C-plug then I wouldn't have to modify the OEM plug. Thanks.
