V60 Phone on 99 E55
I have a 99 E55 which came with the older style analog car phone. Does anyone know if a V60 phone can be integrated into the audio system similar to newer models? Thanks.

I have a 1999 C43 which came with the analog Motorola phone. I recently installed a Nokia phone, and once I had the parts the steps were basically:
0) remove old handset, handset clip, and PSE from trunk
1) install handset clip in center console
2) plug handset into center console
3) plug in PSE in trunk (25 pin cable and fibre optic cable), attach PSE to mounting bracket
In the 2000+ W210, the PSE is behind the left side trunk liner. Not sure about the 1999, so this may add some time to your project. Also, my new PSE didn't mount to the existing mounting bracket, so I had to cobble something together so that it would be fixed in place.
The V60 phone is similar in functional design to the Nokia I installed (the phone fits into a handset). The Timeport kit is slightly different (no "handset"), but the number of parts and installation is similar.
Hope that helps.
