08 ML350 and a iPhone 3g
Ive been reading for a week and still dont have a clue! Can anyone tell me if there is an Iphone 3g cradle that will hook up to the port in the armrest of my 2008 ML350 that will charge, download my phonebook and use the functions on my command radio or steering wheel? I would also like for the ipod kit in the glovebox to work as its been, with another ipod that stays permanently in there. Thanks to anybody for their help.

Yes, there is, but you may have to order it from Europe (I did)

With this cradle, you have the choice of continuing to use the glovebox iPod connector (with a an iPod) or adding a new wiring harness between radio and console and using the iPod function of the iPhone.
