Bose wire harness problem?

Okay so first off heres my problem.. the antennae seems to be stuck on the lifted position, but i still get stations to pop out on the radio.. but the radio makes no sound, not even static, and doesn't detect the cd changer at all..

i asked around and my mechanic said its my amp, as did alot of forums..
so i finally got a new amp, and was about to hook it up.. but when i pulled the harness out

looks like 3 pins are missing? as you can see its like a blank space.. is it supposed to be like that? and when i pulled the harness out it won't go back in so i'm unable to connect the new bose amp.. did i break the harness or something?

its ok to have pins missing.. not all the positions are always populated on the connector. as far as not getting the conenctor back in you have to slide the locking tab all the way to one side and then position the connector and slide back in.
