My website will be down for two to four weeks since my servers are moving from NJ to WA. I'm just about to decommission them at my current location. Computer moving company will remove servers from racks, crate and transport them to the new location where I'll have a new business internet provider. They will be back up and running hopefully by or earlier than mid June

I'm so sorry about the inconvenience. I own the link and related web servers; unfortunately since I relocated to WA, I've been working away in CA and have had zero time to install a new 30A outlet for the server rack in the new temporary home base hence the web servers are idle. This week I'm working from home and will attempt to isolate one web server and try it with an existing 15A outlet hoping it does not blow the fuse/cutout before I start configuring network connectivity.
Can't promise anything but I will give it a go later today.

Thanks man! I hope you find it useful. Though I was in no particular hurry, I think I did the install over a weekend. The best thing, it is still working and performing without issues for all these years and the Focal 165 KRX2's in all four doors sound crisp and clear too. Others would have probably upgraded the subs and sub-amp but I'm not a 'boom boom' guy.

Sorry guys, it appears the cutout to temporary power connection to the web server tripped; I'm in Socal, I won't get to it until late Sunday night. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
UPDATE:
One of the SCSI drives failed on my server, I've ordered a replacement one and can only hope the server automatically rebuilds the drive since it was set up as raid 1 mirrored configuration.
Thanks for your patience.

Just added a sub to my 2014 E350
I have a 2014 e350 : Added a sub ( Memphis 10 inch 610/d4) and a JL audio XD1000/ 1v2 amp. Sealed box pushing bass thru the rear seat pass thru. Looks and sounds phenomenal. The folks at Soundwaves in Clinton twp. Mi. did a beautiful job.
Installed DVD in Motion so I can use the GPS and play DVD concert videos while on the go.
I still do not have the control over the system as I would like. The subwoofer has a remote level control so you can adjust the output but would like to have a little more control over the component door speakers. An Audison system would be nice but very expensive( 4-5K) and you would lose your ability to decode Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks.
MB upgraded the hard drive to 10 gig while not real large, still nice playing downloaded Hi-rez 2 channel files.
Having the car detailed with C quartz next week so should be done for awhile!!
Good luck everyone,
Russ

Here is a build I just finished up on a 2004 Benz CLK 55 AMG. The system ended up looking amazing, but better yet sounded even better. Below is a few shots of the build. For complete build process, equipment used click on the link below for the build log.

Omg I’m tired of searching lol. I need a wiring diagram from the AGW for a 2014 c63. I’m installing Polk components front and rear, Rockford 4 channel, Rockford sub amp using LC7i converter. I’ve seen a diagram on one of these threads but now I don’t see it. Questioning because I see 2 sets of green green/brown pairs. Is there one or two pair coming off AGW for sub? This is an HK system.
Help......PLEASE!

Amped HK speakers
I just wanted to bump this post to confirm that I added an amp to the current HK speakers, front and rear, and added a sub and amp for my lows. Sounds excellent! I’m still going to replace the HK components with speakers I already purchased but I’m actually happier with the HK’s than I am with my sub!! Maybe I will creat a post for those who may be interested. Btw it’s in a ‘14 C63.

Here's part of my build. Have some scan speak 12M midrange speakers in the pillars with scan speak r3004 tweets in the sails. Also used the Navtv module to decode the MOST150 optical signal which then goes into the Helix dsp pro mkii. From there it goes optical to my focal FDP 6.900 amps. Don't have a good picture of the Audio Development w800neo 8" midbass speakers mounted in the stock firewall location. For the sub, I have an illusion carbon c12xl. Tuning is everything, sounds pretty good right now.

My suggestion is to use a mobridge da1, it will replace the factory amp keeping the most loop closed and gives you a digital signal out which will go to the bit one. You could use the high level speaker signals coming out of the factory audio gateway amp and allowing the bit one to sum up the signal but it's not all that great. Just my opinion from experience.

Great write up guys! I’ve just finished rebuilding the rear end, starting with the Rear Main Seal, of my 2007 E63 and have geared up to install the following:
A-Stereo Integrity 6.5 and 3.5 in Pods up front (along with some Focal tweets but being that the SI mid’s go up to 20k, not sure if there’s a reason especially if I could use that channel of the DSP to drive a “new” Center Channel instead of leaving it connected directly to the AGW)
B- Focal 6.5 two way’s in Rear Doors
C- Audison bit Nove DSP
D- Gladen AB 4 Channel (4x105 Watt) & 5 Channel (AB 4 x 90 Watts + 1 D 350 Watts at 4 ohm or 500 ish at 2ohm) to be mounted in the spare tire area bumper side on a custom rack attached to the Bumper Bolts Driver Side in the shape of a wide V going in front of spare tire on both sides.
E. 2/1 ground junction box for both amps, 2/1 4 awg to 8 awg 80 Amp fused distribution box for amps, 1 x 175 Amp Fuse at battery, fused startup wire for DSP
My intention is to run 16 awg wire from trunk to each side to feed power to both tweeters and SI Mids, using the OEM mount to feed power to SI 6.5’s by splicing/soldering from the OEM connection thereby using the OEM speaker wire. Any suggestions as to how to do this preferably without removing the rear seat would be killer! In my EPC, it shows that there’s a 3-way wire connector up front, so I’m expecting to see some sort of crossover that being the case. Probably more like a resistor wrapped in tape and this harder to find! As to the Mic, yeah I’d like to delete it but just need to find it? Isn’t it mounted behind the dash somewhere near the SOS near the center speaker or as jbondbox mentioned that one could just disco it in back by the AGW (White wire IIRC)? Moreover, there are two tiny, less than 3”, speakers located in my footwells that I intend on deleting, unless one of you chimes in a word of wisdom here telling me they double as telephone speakers or Alarm etc.??? If deleted, no biggie, but if I should keep them for Phone/alarm then I’m in the woods as to how to do that if I’m intercepting signal at the woofer in the door thereby cancelling any signal extending from there. As such, for all those threads that espouse the HK had 12 total speakers is wrong in my case as I have 14?? As mentioned above, I’m still trying to determine whether to toss the idea of installing and devoting 2 channels to the tweeters if the SI mids cover the range up to 20k?? I mean I bought the Audison to drive true 3-way up front, but if the SI’s cover the range, then why not devote one of those DSP channels to the Center instead? If so, any suggestions on a speaker that’ll fit up there in the center dash would be appreciated!! As for the DSP location, I’m toying with idea to somehow fit it in the slot available above the Navigation. Also, I do have the Hydrolic trunk, which I understand is a b _ t _ c to deal with!! Any clues here would be awesome!
I know to expect some flac about NOT using a MOST connector, but I don’t want to loose the functionality of the CD Player much less the Steering Controls since I’m not swapping out the Head Unit. Not yet, anyway! I was planning on using individual connectors to solder each lead into rather than soldering directly from the AGW to high level inputs of the Audison, but Jbondox has me thinking otherwise especially since I never plan on “Selling” this car after devoting 2+ years to its restoration!
All the best!
