Stereo upgrades possible for CL63?
I recently took delivery of a 2009 CL63. Although the stereo is not too bad, i'm interested in improving the sound quality. I was told by a few stereo places that there is not much that can be done with these cars because of the complexity of the electronics. Can anyone tell me what I might be able to do which would give me louder and crisper sound. i was told that I could add some bass with a sub, but thats it. Can amplifiers be installed?, new speakers? or both. Thanks in advance.

find a better shop, and don't waste the money on reus... you will need to sum the amp outputs to get a decent sound, an audison bit one will work well for it, however your vehicle has the logic 7 with DTS encoding, so tossing in a 5.1 movie up front will mess your EQ setup for normal 2 channel audio.

California 714 633-6636 give Rick a call and Judge for yourself, they will keep your car neat and clean you won't know that you have a upgraded system until you listen to the sound!!! Everyone will have an opinion but all I can say is judge for yourself

If you want to get out of NY, i would check out JML audio in St. Louis. They do some very nice work and have worked on a few high end cars.
