V60 adapter and Sony TMR-BT8iP wireless transmitter

I just purchased a Sony TMR-BT8iP wireless transmitter for iPod, thinking I'd get all my great tunes via my 2003 E320 V60 bluetooth adapter. Can't get it to work. Sony device requires A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) to transmit the sound and AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) for remote control operation (play, pause, etc). I cannot find any mention of these technologies in my scant V60 documentation or online. Does anyone know if these are supported? Other recommended solutions?

Thanks!

The V60 Bluetooth puck definitely does not support A2DP. I don't know if it even supports mono music streaming.

Try the Dension Gateway 500 for MOST, or look at solutions from InCarTronics or mObridge. Use the names as search terms, you'll find plenty. I use the Gateway 500 - https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-ele...entation.html; because your CDC is not in the trunk, your installation would be much simpler than mine. See https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-ele...us-comand.html for menu function - but be aware, if you don't have DVD-based nav, you will not get song titles, etc. on COMAND. It's addressed in the writeup.

Thank you
If only I'd known about MBWorld before purchasing the Sony!
