European Comand APS Map 2009 for Hard Disk
Can anybody tell me if the European Comand APS Map 2009 for Hard Disk COMAND NTG2.5 would work on my USA 2009 ML 550 comand system please.

I would assume the same as you explained but I think there was someone on the W204 forum who got the same advice but was still successful with activating Euro maps for a US car. If it was a 204, the Comand would still be a bit different, NTG4 versus NTG2.5 and the previous experience may not apply.

Many thanks to you both. Diesel Benz and RM-6302. I would just have to use my tomtom 920 for now. I also realised that the DVD player is Region A. Are you aware of any way of getting it to play theother regions.

DVD region can be changed from the engineering mode, if you can reach it. Otherwise use Star. There is a limit how many times the code can be changed but at least on the 204 the limit can be reset (no problem to change it once for Europe and then back to the US).

I don't know, it might have been explained at the Audio & Electronics section or the Audio & Telematics at the other forum. They have a long thread on this topic (could be difficult to find the real info bits).
