IPOD, BT, Nav integration into 04 W211/E320
I am looking to add IPOD integration into my 04 E320. I can play via the AUX input in the glove box but would like to be able to control with the steering wheel or head display. I also need to upgrade the Nav disk which is the original disk.
If I started to add the puck/tail for BT and the Nav disk cost, I started to wonder about just getting the aftermarket units like Kenwood 6140/7140/9140 to replace the factory unit.
Has anyone installed one of these units? Will it work with the 04? I talked to the local install shop and their info wasn't clear on whether it would fit. Is the whole Command unit removed such that I could resell?
Any other cost effective options that people have done to get these three options?
