The dealer quoted me at $500 for this but I know I can find it for less. Only thing is this parts repairman I spoke to didn't want to give the part #. I already have the ipod interface cable but wanted to add the video interface one. (not sure of the difference in terms of cables but we shall see why you pay $500 to get video when it already connects to the ipod for audio)

You talking about the media interface kit, or you just wanting to pipe video to the COMAND head (eg no control?)

There is the ipdo video interface kit (available as an accessory) and the ipod media interface kit (which is part of P1). I already have the media interface kit and was looking into the video interface kit

Is there another option that I am overlooking to get video to the command? (not include the VIM options from mid city)
