LED License Plate Lights
The left license plate light will no longer accept LED lights. I had them installed with no problem for 3-4 months. All of a sudden, it stopped working. I swapped the bulbs from the other side that was working, and the bulb worked fine in there, but on the same left side, the bulb from the other side would flicker when installed in the left license plate light. It's just so weird that one side would accept all the bulbs, and the other would make all of them flicker. Any ideas?

Most LED license plate lights installations I have seen discussed used resistors together with the bulbs, to avoid problems with the bulb warning system. You could have a bad resistor on one side.

That wouldn't explain why the problem stays in the same place when the bulbs are swapped.
If it's any comfort, mine does exactly the same thing on an R171. Also the left side one.
