Another Phone problem... help please.
Hi guys, i hope someone out there knows wiring for W203 or W209 very well because i am in need of serious knowledge.
So i have an 04 CLK,
Successfully installed a euro command last year, this year tried to add Phone and voice control. Got that finally done and everything works so i know all the fuses are good and the D2B loop is good. Voice works, CD changer and all, but the phone says no phone plugged in. I'm using a V60 blue-tooth puck.
At my last oil change the tech did a quick and dirty check with a new cradle and puck and no change. so he thinks there is a disconnect between the arm rest and the PSE in the back.
I did a check with a voltmeter thingy on the cables and there is absolutely no signal going to the back. I checked a secondary connection right behind the command and it's fine.
Can someone tell me if there is anywhere in the car another connection that may need to be checked?
Anything that may come to mind that you've heard about or know someone that did would be greatly appreciated.
I love this car and i've had it for several years and not having a hands free is just killing me. i got used to it so much on my old C

There is not much info about mixing Euro head units and US phone kits but I've understood that the older ones might not work with a Euro unit. Or have you found some proof that the combination should work?
PSE is up and running and allowing all other components to work flawlessly.

I see I didn't read your first message carefully. Was the phone working before you installed the Euro Comand? Any idea why the wiring is bad? I guess we'll here about that soon. At least good if you have identified the issue, hopefully it works once you have the cradle wiring fixed.

I am hopeful though since I’ve tested the wiring in my car and it seems to have issues… so I don’t know what to do. Trying to find out if there are any boxes or plugs along the way from the front to the back, that’s my only hope.
