blackberry in 2008 GL-Bluetooth
I have a 2008 GL. i want to connect a blackberry 9700 (AT&T) I went online and saw this list for bluetooth compatibility:
http://www.wireless4mb.com/page18/as...DEC%202009.pdf
i purchased the silver and blue adapter modual.
Tonight i inserted it in the cradle in my arm rest. The lights flash on it, and i see the phone activting on the NAV. It asks me to enter my phone number but then turns off before i can enter the whole number.
I haven't even been able to try to pair them because the modual just seems to turn off.
What is wrong?

I don't have a GL, but the pairing procedure I am aware of tells you to 1) press the large button on the puck, so the blue lights flash; they will flash for about 1 minute.
2) On your phone, be sure Bluetooth is enabled; when you push the button on the puck, the phone will search for a Bluetooth system and will show you the MB system. Select it, then enter the "code" for the MB puck (in the U.S. it is "MBUSA" - i.e., 62872) on the phone.
The phone should pair, and phone book download should begin.
Be sure you are not using a secure pairing procedure available on the Blackberry. My wife was unable to pair her BB to her system when the seller had set it up for secure pairing. It's a setting on the phone -- check your phone's operating instructions.
I hope that helps - again, I have no experience with the GL, but every other MB system and non-MB system I have used works the way I described - except non-MB systems usually pair with a code of "0000."
