Another Euro COMAND Success - Thanks Steve!

Thanks to Steve for installing my Euro COMAND, Xenons, Heated Seats, and illuminated door sills! Also, the bi-xenons for my wife's ML!! We are both very happy with the recent upgrades!

Steve is simply amazing the way he took apart my interior piece by piece and did his magic! After all said and done, the upgrades are fantastic, and really done professionally!! And guess what, Steve also fixed my broken cup holder as well

As you know, I was concerned with my AM reception (yes, I do listen to AM all the time) with the Euro COMAND. But, the three stations I listen to most (560, 740, and 810) all come in as good as before. I can't imagine not having COMAND as before..

Thanks again,

Wayne

Hi Wayne, good to hear that AM receival is good enough. It was a pleasure...enjoy the new toys and see you around!

HEATED SEATS

Heated seats? Cool!

How hard/expensive was it to install heated seats? That is one feature I really miss in my 208.

Thanks!

Steve got here sometime last weekend and I believe was to stay doing upgrades most of the week. Steve upgraded my car earlier this week. I think he travels up to Seattle this weekend and then down to Los Angeles.

The heated seat installation was the most time consuming. Mostly due to having sports seats. From what I understand, it required getting parts from another make, and modifying them to work using my existing leather seat covers. There are some portions of my seat that don't get heat, but the most important sections are very toasty. Since I was already getting a new wood panel to fit the COMAND, Steve ordered the wood panel that had additional cutouts for the heated seat switches..

I paid $1,300 installed for my refurbished EURO COMAND. I believe Steve's COMAND prices vary by vehicle, and whether old or new, and whether US or EURO, so I'll let someone else comment on specific models and preferences. I believe he brought some extra COMANDS this time -- so give him a hollar!

As you can tell, I'm very happy with Steve's upgrades!!

Steve,

If you are still going to be in So Cal soon I would be interested in a Euro Command unit. I e-mailed you the other day for some information on the price and if you were going to be in So Cal soon. I know you get a lot of e-mails so hopefully you got mine. If not I can resend it. My e-mail is smbsocal@yahoo.com.

Thanks

Steve, please contact me when you get this message. I am beginning to worry that you have not booked me into your schedule for the LA installs.

I installed 7 comands yesterday and 5 today...I will run through some more "regular" comand installs the next couple of days after which I will have some days left next week for the longer timetaking modification jobs next week.

I haven't forgotten you (or anyone else)....I just have a limitted day of a minor 24 hours and a louzy week with only 7 days .
Jay will help me out with the appointments...please get in contact with him when you feel left out...

greetingz,

edit: and anyone with a W203 who suddenly decided to want a comand as well...mail me or Jay, because I have some units left and can install those in between the whatever else I have scheduled.

I was one of his 5 on Thursday......

and all I can say is Steve and Dean are the best. They took my ML apart and put it back together better than before. Dean found a couple of screws that weren't even tightened. My comand functions perfectly. You can not beat the price and their great service. Here's a pic of my comand.

New Euro Command!!

Thanks to Steve, Mark and Jay for the great job and generous hospitality in installing my Euro Command today. I had a great time talking MB's with the guys and watching Steve tear my new car apart and then reassemble it with the Command in place, smiling all the while.

My drive back to SB with the lovely English lady (she must be lovely with a voice like that!) directing all the way was a complete gas! The Command works perfectly.

I can't wait for the blinking mirrors and the smoked tail lights. (and then it's on to the new steering wheel and cluster).

What fun! Thanks again,
