Pre-face lift W203's are tough - I'd do a search, there was a post about wiring the cassette player to be an MP3 input.

Thanks for your response,

I have read a few posts and I think i know what you're talking about.....this? https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...x-my-ipod.html

I also saw another MUCH better post with Much better instructions....but I can't find it..

I'm just afraid that i will fix 1 problem and create another-never done anything like this.

No plug n play solutions?

BTW, where are you in Chicago?

You found what i was thinking of. I agree, it's not for the faint of heart. I don't recall which post had the good instructions either, I never saved the link.

I've never seen a plug/play solution, other than the cassette adapter - but it's really poor integration, the cord is wedged into the cassette opening and the sound is sub-par.

I'm in the west burbs - near the Brookfield Zoo.

I don't have any experience and this is the first I've seen the logjam product. From the description, it seems pretty straight forward and accomplishes exactly what you're looking to do.

Given the reasonable cost, I'd probably give it a try.

Not a bad idea, you get integrated Navi for a little more money.
