Got my MB TV tuner from Steve (MBenzNL) on Friday afternoon. With Steve install sheet and instructions, I managed to have it installed by Saturday.

By Sunday, got a chance to meet Steve again and actually Steve swapped the blank TV button (from the car US Comand) with a "real" TV button from one of his "canibalized" comand. So now my car has a US Comand with the TV button (thanks Steve)

Reception with the generic TV antenna is actually surprisingly good, even with the car moving. BTW, on US Comand unit, you need to have the TV activated by the MB star diag. system. Antennas are installed on rear windshield FYI.

As with other people experiences dealing with Steve (MBenzNL), it was a pleasure dealing with such a class guy. He is definitely highly recommended.

hehe...you should have taken a picture of your "comand" when it was apart for that 1 button...

How did you get the COMAND to allow 'TV Viewing' while the car is moving? Thanks..

Star diag sys was used to disable TV screen disable triggers (four of them).

which dealership in cali did you go to? I'm sure if I went to my dealer, they would say "HUH???"
