Digital StarTAC vs Timeport
I just bought a 2000 CLK which has a StarTAC digital Verizon phone installed. Unfortunately Verizion requires a trimode phone. Is the factory Timeport compatible with my car or will I need to purchase an installation kit?

The 2000 models are NOT compatible with the Timeports. 2001+ models were made to be compatible with the Timeport and future phones.
2000 model year owners really got screwed with this as they are stuck with the Star Tac units as far as integration is concerned.

Thanks for the information. Having you pricey become obsolete in 18 months is a real rip-off. I wonder how many upset owners of 2000 MB's are out there?
