External Antenna???
I installed a cheap $11 antenna on my YUKON (passive signal booster), when I had it, and believe it or not, it did wonders for my reception on long trips outside my Sprint coverage area. Now, I read in the MB owners manual for my C 280 that you shouldn't use anything but an MB phone inside your Mercedes. Something about engine operation interference. What's up with that? Personally I think it's bull. Then, I also heard that the radio antenna kinda acts like a passive signal booster. Is this true? If not, would it be ok to install another antenna like the one I had on my truck on the rear glass of my C 280?
