Another Phone Question....W202
Can anyone tell me which phone I need to purchase (Used off E-bay) for a 2000 C280?
I just purchased the car with the original phone kit, but it did not come with the phone.
I prefer Verizon (CDMA?)
Is there an upgrade?

That would be a Startac connector/holster with room for the auxillary backpack battery. It MIGHT work with the Timeport, if not you'll need to find a Benz StarTac 7868W (not sure of the MB part number).
In fact, here's one on Ebay and here is another. I would believe that the NON-timeport would work with your carkit as the timeport was used from 2001-2002. Check with your dealer to be sure. Oh yeah here is a REALLY cheap one.

I know this is a really old thread, but I have a question exactly related to this. My friend, actually Tex07, has a 2000 C230 (W202) with a factory hands free phone system. What options are there for using it; is there a way to have a docking phone, or is bluetooth the only way to go? I am assuming some upgrades would be necessary. What does this entail? Also, what phones work best (dockable/bluetooth)? Thanks everyone.
