2001 E320 4matic Estate
Pre amp booster needed? W124 related
I put in my kenwood deck today using my metra harness adapter. Everything works but I don't get a lot of volume. My deck is a 2v output and I remember reading somewhere that the w124 uses a 4v preamp input. Isn't there a booster I need to correct this?

audio control or arc audio have them... I usually just wire past the stock amplifiers.

Audio Control... I have ever yet to get 1 of those pieces to work noise free I gave up on AC, however Fred at Arc has nice gear!
