Speaker Replacement on the stock Audio 20 in a 2011 W204
Hi Guys!
Just got hold of my 2011 W204 last week with the standard Audio 20 sound system. The sound produced by the speakers are not that bad to listen to, but when you crank up the volume a bit higher, you'd get distortion especially on the heavy notes.
I was wondering if I'd just upgrade the 4 large speakers in the door and the tweeters, would it make any difference? Or do i have to add in an Amp and such. I'm not even sure if it has a woofer as i don't see any in the boot.
Cheers for your input!
P/S - oo and if you guys have any DIY for removing the new COMAND 4.5, it would be greatly appreciated. Wanted to do a reverse camera mod, but I can't seem to find how to access the HU

amp it before replacing! audison SR line is affordable and will take the speaker level inputs from the headunit without any adapters
then go from there...
But your running out of juice to power the speakers cleanly
