My E350 is showing Sirius channel 15 as (BBC) "Radio 1", but of course it's actually "Studio 54".

Is this something that will eventually update itself automatically via the normal Sirius satellite signal? Should I request a refresh signal? Does the car (Comand system) require a software update?

Generally the updates do come down automatically. But if it does not call Sirius and they will ask for you radio esn number and they can push down the channel update.

Well, I just spent about 20 minutes on the phone with Sirius Canada. The nice lady said she sent the signal and nothing changed. We tried it several different ways, and it made no difference. Channel 15 is still showing as [BBC] "Radio 1" (should be Studio 54).

Is there anyone else in Canads (Sirius Canada client) on-line here with a similar car (08 E350) that can double check their car to confirm the name of Sirius Ch 15 on their system?

Anyone know if this is something only the MB dealer can reprogram?

Three weeks ago channel 15 was still showing BBC on my US car.

 

mine updated as soon as I started the car

 

That's what it's supposed to do and which my other cars have done. The Merc has updated in the past also but not this last time for reasons unknown.

 

Well to the OP I do not have your car, but my Sirius in car and not in car (Sportster 5) still shows BBC radio on channel 15
