Hello,

Can someone please help I have a clk200(w280) coupe and when you turn the left indicator on there is a thumping in the speakers in time with the indicator, does not do it when indicating right, there is engine noise coming through speakers as well. I suspect it is a bad earth somewhere,both lh indicators seam normal brightness, have checked and cleaned the earth for lhf and rear indicators. can anyone help with this.

bad ground for sure or a damaged audio component

If you are getting the engine noise coming through the system with acceleration then i would think their would be an amp, and the ground potential between the radio and amp is way off. hate chasing these, but having a wiring diagram helps.
