E320 MP3 or USB Player Availability?

I have been looking for quite some time and cannot find what I am looking for as far as audio equipment. I have a 2000 E320 and want to add MP3 or USB (or both) capablility to my stereo. All of the units that I have found will not work with the 2000 model year. I might be interested in swapping out the OEM player only if the new player can utilize the steering wheel controls as well. I do not have the CD changer installed so that is not an issue with me. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

You have a Becker radio I presume. Becker will modify the unit for you to accept MP3 players.

^+1 - see http://www.mbca.org/forum/how-integr...se-mb-ipod-kit or https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-ele...mentation.html for more information. Your car has a D2B fiber optics bus, so be sure you order the model that is compatible with that bus. The unit provides iPod 30-pin, RCA, and USN input capability. No steering wheel control is available for RCA - connected devices. You will have to do initial music selection on the iPod, but once you have chosen the playlist, artist, or album, you can scroll and of course control volume. I don't use USB except for firmware updates, but I am sure some kind of scrolling will be available.
