Hello Guys,
Has anybody tried NavTech for TV enabling in their S-Class or any other class for that matter??
I am thinking of giving it a try and was put off a bit by the fact that they have to dismantle the car to accomplish it. Wanted to consult the forums before I pay good $$$ for it and they dismantle my car to install it.
Any problems? Recommendations?? Should I do it??
Best Regards,

According to Steve of MBenzNL, it could be done without any problem. In fact, if you spend enough time in this place or Benzworld.org, you would notice a lot of people had done this. I think you would have to replace your US MSC to the Euro one that has the TV tuner. Why the US don't have one, perhaps in this ligitation happy society, they didn't want anyone to get hurt while watch ing tv on the road and get into an accident. And then decided to sue the company for putting such thing in.

If you only want to get the blank TV button activated so that it supports a TV tuner, you only need to get it activated by your MB dealership (IF they have some knowledgeable techs, it will only take 10 minutes max).
