Radio Code
Hi everyone
My question is that if I replace my factory radio system with an aftermarket one. When I decide to replace the factory radio back in, could the dealer find the code to my factory radio if I didn't have one? I bought 99 SLK230 used, so it's doesn't have all the stuff like manual, spare key, and factory radio code, and etc... And does anyone knows the size of the Bose speakers, and do I have to rewire them when I put the new radio system? Thanx :p

1) Normally your BOSE systems works of the factory HU. With that I mean that it uses hi-level to feed the BOSE amp. Therefore you should be OK IMHO.
2) The VMI should tell the dealer the code for your factory HU if it is a neccessity. Therefore he might share it with you. Depends.
