Antenna to Rear Window Wiring Coupling?
Antenna to Rear Window Wiring Coupling?
For a long time, I have had intermittent noise/loss of AM raido on my 2007 s550. After looking under the headliner at the rear window, the problem appears to be related to the antenna or amplifier (?) that is tied into the rear window wiring. This seems to be done via spring loaded "pads" off of the "amplifier" in the headliner at the rear center of the car...the drivers side "pads" seem tight, but the ones on the passenger side are loose to the touch?
Does anyone know how these are supposed to be secured to the rear window wire traces?
Thanks!

Anyone know anything about this? If I haven't described it well, let me know...I really would like some advice on how this antenna is attached to the rear window wiring....
